My friend Brent hosts a party at APT once a month. The vibe was great, the music slammin' (thanx to Still Music's Jerome Derradji and guests, like Ron Trent this week), and the crowd sweet and dressed to sweat. I'll definitely be back....

The Pill Awards

The PIll Awards are to clubland what the Oscars are to Hollywood. To be honest, I have no idea who won what. I was happily stuck in the wings with half the house of Aviance -- here's Jeremy getting into his corsette...


...two dozen barely post-pubescent male models...


...as well as presenters and performers from the clubland's inner sanctum.




Everyone was nervous and fidgety and putting on final touches.



Best, tho, was seeing friends Liquids rock the house as one of the evening's performances.

HAMSA

These days I'm much more of a homebody than I used to be. That's why this weekend was so much fun.



My friend Lee (right) asked me to shoot his party, Hamsa.


He's moving to Germany soon so it was definitely a special occasion.


Lots of old friends represented. It's hard to believe that I've been partying with these folks for a decade plus, but it's true.



We were in NYC, but the vibe was global. And the room was so hot and sweaty it felt like the tropics.
